Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with adults between the ages of 18-80+, and people who are ready, willing, and able to take the responsibility for their own happiness.

  • I do not work with minors under the age of 18, people with active suicidal ideation or self harm behaviors, clients who are involved with active domestic violence or are currently involved in a legal or custody case.

  • It's different for each client. Some clients may come for 8-12 sessions to work on a specific issue while other clients address more complex issues, which takes longer.

I generally see clients weekly for at least 6-8 weeks so we can get to know each other and start seeing some improvement. After that we will assess your progress and adjust accordingly.

  • Therapy can help you by offering education, guidance and support to help you develop coping strategies to deal with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, anger, and other mental health issues.

  • The Good Faith Estimate requires health care providers to give clients who don't have insurance or choose not to use insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
